On October 16, the 30th Anniversary Caspian Construction Week concluded at the Baku Expo Center.
This key industry event united a number of international exhibitions, including the 30th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition – “BakuBuild”, the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Exhibition “Rebuild Karabakh” – Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh, the 17th International “Aquatherm Baku” Exhibition – Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary and Pools, the 4th Caspian International “Plastex Caspian” Exhibition – Plastics and Polymers Industry, and the 13th Caspian International “Road & Traffic” Exhibition – Road Infrastructure and Public Transport. This year, the exhibition occupied three pavilions of the Baku Expo Center and brought together 299 companies from 17 countries.
In his letter addressed to the participants of Caspian Construction Week, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, highlighted the importance of the 5th Anniversary “Rebuild Karabakh” Exhibition, which coincides with two significant national milestones – the 30th Anniversary of the Constitution and the 5th Anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War. “Karabakh is being shaped not only as a symbol of our national pride but also as a space for sustainable development of the 21st century.” The Head of State expressed confidence that the exhibition will continue to play an important role in the reconstruction of Karabakh and the wider region, contributing to strong partnerships among participants and defining modern development priorities and investment initiatives.
Undoubtedly, the “Rebuild Karabakh” exhibition became the focal point of Caspian Construction Week, attracting the attention of numerous participants, visitors, and VIP guests from various countries. In their remarks at the opening ceremony, senior officials emphasized the importance of the exhibition in reinforcing Azerbaijan’s position as a global hub of innovation, investment, and technology. As part of the “Great Return” program, large-scale reconstruction and infrastructure projects continue to transform the liberated territories, reshaping the identity and landscape of the region. The rich business program of the exhibitions drew wide media coverage and brought together industry experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives of government institutions. Panel discussions and sessions focused on the implementation of innovative technologies, new quality standards, and the restoration of liberated territories.
Participants highlighted that Karabakh is developing not only from an economic and investment perspective but also as a foundation of Azerbaijan’s sustainable development model. The region offers vast opportunities for investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals, as well as a favorable environment for cooperation and innovative initiatives. Among the key session topics were: “Revival of Karabakh and Azerbaijan’s New Development Model”, “Supply Chain Financing”, “Uncompromising Quality: New Standards in Construction Materials”, “Architecture of the Future: Emerging Trends and Innovations”, and “Transport for a Green Future: Sustainable Public Systems and Eco-Friendly Vehicles.”
One of the central events of the jubilee year was the “Karabakh Cup” – National Culinary Heritage Championship, dedicated to Karabakh cuisine and promoting Azerbaijan’s rich gastronomic traditions internationally.
As part of the 30th Anniversary program, the organizers also continued the tradition of awarding students who achieved outstanding academic results in the field of construction.
